I had stumbled upon The Black & White Blog from a Facebook local group. My son’s 3rd birthday was coming up and figured I’d get in contact with her to maybe set something up for that milestone and our yearly family pictures. After speaking with her, I fell in love with all her ideas/suggestions and comprehension for what I was wanting as well. We booked the session immediately for an evening in September. I was completely open with where we went for our photos, so she a park for our perfect backdrop.
32-copy When we met face to face, we immediately had the feeling that all was going to turn out just as we had hoped. My son, who can be very clingy at times, was completely relaxed and totally himself with her. They had a great time playing hide and seek all while capturing these memories we will now have forever. As soon as we got home later that evening we already had a sneak peek of a few photos and within a day or two we had them ALL. My husband and I LOVED each and every one of them and we got so many compliments from family and friends on how well they turned out.
Anytime someone mentions needing a photographer, Ally is always my first choice! You can absolutely see her passion and love for what she does by the priceless moments she captures. Thanks again for an amazing time, we’ll be contacting you for our next family photo shoot soon!!
As a new Mom I wanted to document every moment as my baby girl grew older. I originally wanted to have newborn pictures done, but time flew by and I never got around to finding a photographer. So as my daughter was nearing her 3 month old milestone, I sought for recommendations of photographers in the area by asking other moms on the Maricopa Moms Facebook page. Two moms recommended Ally, along with a few other photographers recommending themselves.
I fell in love with Ally’s work. Art speaks for itself. Since I graduated from Art School, I know that it takes passion, creativity and drive to be talented. Ally possesses them all and it clearly shows in her work. Her photographs tell a story, they are not just pictures.
Ally came to our home to photograph our 3 month old and brought everything she needed. I was so glad not to have to worry about securing props and girly outfits, I supplied the baby and she delivered amazing photographs with darling props and back drops. She was so easy to get in contact with and pleasant to work with. Ally had our photos edited and completed the next day! She is very efficient and you can see her progression of talent in her work. She is only going to get even better at what she does.
I have found our family photographer, I am so happy to have Ally document our baby girl’s life. I recommend her to everyone,although I hesitated at first since I was being selfish and wanted Ally all to ourselves! We are having our second shoot next week for Easter/spring pictures and we can’t wait!

This past weekend, Ally did a wonderful Valentine’s day shoot for Trevor and I. We had so much fun falling into snow, slipping on ice, and discovering new locations for awesome photos. She was so flexible and willing to try just about anything. Our hour with her was easy going and she always knew exactly what she was doing. I received my edits today (in a very timely matter I might add), and was brought to tears. They came out absolutely gorgeous and I could not be happier. Best money we have ever spent! I highly recommend her for any pictures you might need! Thank you Ally!

Our family tradition is to get our pictures taken every fall so we can have photos for our relatives and a great shot for our Christmas card. Being new to Arizona I was worried about finding someone who could capture the style I wanted. I came across The Black & White Blog Photography on a Facebook group and after peering through numerous photos I knew Ally was the photographer for me. Ally listened to my desires so carefully and the locations she suggested were spot on with what I was envisioning but that was just the beginning. Ally is quick to respond to all inquiries and follows up to make sure her clients are satisfied. At the shoot Ally was amazing. Her personality made us all at ease. My boys, ages 4 and 6, were so excited with the location, Goldfield Ghost Town, and Ally was able to turn that excitement into beautiful shots of my family. Again Ally was very communicative throughout the shoot making sure I had what I wanted. It was like being with an old family friend. Once we received our photos I was once again blown away by Ally’s artistic style and flare. She provided exactly what I was looking for. We have had so many raving reviews from family and friends who have seen our photos.

Well first off, I’ve never done a photo shoot ever in my life, sooooo I was kinda skeptical about doing it. I ended up entering a maternity shoot contest and won (even though there we’re only two of us). I’ve seen the advertising on Facebook and instantly feel in awe with the work she had posted. We finally had our shoot in December, my husband, 10 month old son, my big 9 month belly, and me. She picked the area of downtown near the railroad tracks. Even though it was a cloudy chilly day our photos came out perfectly!! I felt so comfortable and felt like I was actually being listened to. My husband spent the whole time complimenting how easy it was to work with her. She had out sneak peek up later that night, by midnight I had the files for the pictures and the website where to purchase prints from. I loved every single photo, it took me about two weeks to decide which ones were print worthy. I recommend the black & white blog to anyone who asks. I’m so in love with her work and attitude that I’ll book her to shoot every one of my babies milestones. I can’t wait to see what she does for my sons first birthday!!
Ally and her company is the best choice I ever could have made for my special day! If I could sum her Photography into words it would be: skilled, proficient, talented, & best of all professional! She knows what she is doing and takes charge right away! Her bright and bubbly personality fits her well with being a photographer! We hit it off the get go, we just clicked! If you don’t “click” with your photographer you might as well just not take pictures!=D lol .I took a huge risk considering that this was my wedding day and the first one to get married on my side of the family, and my first time meeting her, and the first time she was going to take pictures for me, and boy am I glad I picked her!
Her availability to us was shocking since I seriously didn’t think I was going to find a photographer in such short notice! It was like TWO weeks away from my wedding day and BOOM, she made it happen for me! The funny thing was that I was done looking for photographers, when I ran into her profile on facebook CG BST! EVERYONE either were booked , or they had an okay portfolio or they were asking me questions like if I was a photographer or they didn’t have any experience in weddings or they didn’t want to do them by themselves because they were scared of the responsibility but yet were giving me quotes like they’ve done a million of them! Lol. It was really bad for us at that point! But when I ran into her profile I knew she was the one I wanted , I emailed her and I said to myself “ what the heck I’ll give her a shot, who knows” I really thought she was going to ignore me and not answer me and if she did she was going to charge me a arm and a leg!hahahhaha=)
But she didn’t AND on top of her accepting this huge responsibility on such short notice she offered a lot more than any other photographer had ever offered me in the past! Not only was she experienced in weddings, she knew exactly what she needed from me she wasn’t asking me questions like how to do her job like other photographers! Not only did I love her and her work my entire FAMILY, loves her and wants to do business with her! She doesn’t know it yet but we adopted her into our family, and she is our family photographer without a DOUBT! Family meaning ( 8 individual large immediate families!) OMG, on top of all of this, she pulled it off pregnant with my little (adopted lol) sweet angel! This girl is amazing at what she does and you will not be let down!
